The Strength of Women Foundation participated in the Ecobank Ellevate 2.0 Women’s Conference, held on March 5th at Ecobank Ghana Headquarters, to mark International Women’s Day. The event brought together women entrepreneurs and organizational leaders to discuss pressing challenges faced by women in business, particularly in agriculture and industry, where access to land, credit, and resources remains a major hurdle. In response, Ecobank Ghana announced a dedicated credit line of up to 750,000 cedis with no collateral and low-interest loans to support women-led businesses. The Strength of Women Foundation applauds this initiative and encourages women to seize this opportunity for financial empowerment and growth. As part of its commitment to economic inclusion, the Foundation is considering applying for this funding to support its social entrepreneurship initiatives under the CSSF project, further driving impact for women in business and beyond.
